Acai fruit powder comes from freeze-dried or spray-dried berries of the Euterpe oleracea palm. It keeps water-soluble anthocyanins and other polyphenols but none of the fatty acids found in acai oil.
People use it as a dietary antioxidant to support general wellness. A spoonful stirred into a smoothie, yogurt, or oatmeal easily adds phytonutrients to the day.
Most take it once daily, often in the morning. It dissolves quickly but tastes tart and earthy. This powder does not provide the omega-rich fats of acai pulp or oil-based extracts.
